1. Warranty Coverage

We stand behind the quality of our products. Warranty applies to the original purchaser under normal residential use from the date of delivery or pick-up (proof provided via delivery or pick-up docket).

2. What Is Covered

This warranty covers manufacturing defects and faults in materials or workmanship, including:

  • Frame construction and structural integrity
  • Upholstery stitching and seams
  • Mechanisms (e.g., recliner motors, sofa bed frames)
  • Electrical components of powered furniture
  • Joinery and fixings on dining furniture and bed frames

3. What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear (e.g., fabric fading, leather softening, cushion flattening)
  • Damage from misuse, abuse, accidents, or improper handling
  • Damage due to improper cleaning or use of harsh chemicals
  • Stains, spills, pet damage, mould, or odours
  • Commercial or non-residential use unless explicitly stated
  • Damage from unauthorized repair or modification
  • Damage during transport if delivery was arranged by the customer

4. Warranty Claim Process

To make a warranty claim:

  • Contact us at 0490 699 834 or hello@cozyhausfurniture.com.au with:
    • Proof of purchase
    • Photos or videos of the issue
    • Description of the fault and how it occurred
  • We will assess your claim and may:
    • Request inspection
    • Repair or replace defective parts
    • Provide a replacement product if the original is unavailable

 

Note: Repairs or replacements do not extend the original warranty period.


5. Customer Responsibilities

  • Retain proof of purchase and warranty documentation
  • Use and maintain products according to provided care instructions
  • Report issues promptly to facilitate timely service
  • Ensure products are used as intended and within recommended limits

6. Limitations of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Our liability is limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the defective product or part
  • We are not responsible for incidental or consequential damages
  • This warranty is in addition to statutory consumer rights under Australian Consumer Law

7. Policy Updates

  • This warranty policy is subject to change. The version in effect on the date of purchase applies to your order.
  • Future updates will not affect purchases made prior to the effective date.
